Meet Dr. Nina Petit de Mange
Carlsbad Psychological Services PC was founded by Dr. Nina Petit de Mange in 2013. Her extensive clinical experience working with children and adults quickly established her as a go-to expert for ADHD, chronic anxiety, and OCD treatment. Dr. Petit de Mange expanded her services in 2024 to offer gold-standard ND-affirming ADHD and Autism testing for children and adults in California.Dr. Petit de Mange graduated from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in 2012. Her clinical experiences include providing in-home therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders; conducting diagnostic assessments and providing treatment for individuals with persistent mental illness at a crisis house in San Diego; providing individual therapy for teens and adults with a wide-range of disorders; running teen therapy groups in East County; and leading parenting education groups for court-mandated individuals. Her post-doctoral experience included working with child victims of emotional and physical abuse, and conducting diagnostic assessments and treatment at an outpatient county mental health facility.Dr. Petit de Mange has assessed and treated children in collaboration with several public and private schools throughout North County San Diego. She is sought out for her high standards in testing; detailed, reader-friendly reports; and warm, compassionate approach. In 2024, Dr. Petit de Mange expanded her training by attending a 6 month training program to enhance her skills as a neurodivergent-affirming assessment provider.Outside of her clinical practice, you may find Dr. P attending a ball game with her beautiful boys; taking long walks; reading mysteries; and cooking her favorite Mediterranean recipes.Education and Experience:

What are symptoms of autism in teens and adults?While symptoms can vary and are unique to each person, they may include:-Feeling overwhelmed when socializing in groups
-Preferring one-to-one or small gatherings
-Spending a lot of time researching how to act in social situations
-Rehearsing what to say before socializing
-Feeling drained trying to keep up with social expectations

-Anxiety, especially in social situationsHow long until I get my final testing results?Evaluations take a total of 4 to 6 weeks depending on the type of evaluation you need. This time may be longer if you need to reschedule or if forms/paperwork are not completed in a timely manner.How do I pay for services?I am considered an "out-of-network" provider for most PPO insurance plans. You may request a receipt (superbill) to seek reimbursement from your insurance. All fees are due prior to services being provided. Invoices will be emailed to you and can be paid using VISA, MC, Discover, AMEX, FSA, or HSA.
